Artificial Turf Installation in Groveland, FL
For shady yards, pool decks and pet areas, with no watering days to track
Artificial turf installation in Groveland makes the most sense where real grass keeps losing: deep shade, a dog run, the strips between pool deck pavers. Randolph Outdoor installs artificial turf and plans it with the pavers, beds and drainage around it, so the edges look finished. Family owned since 2009.

Where Artificial Turf Earns Its Place
Around the pool
Turf strips between deck pavers stay green, don't track sand or mulch into the water, and don't need mowing next to the edge. They pair well with paver patios and pool decks.
Shade and wear
Under big oaks or along a narrow side yard, lawn grass thins out no matter how often it's watered. The same goes for the path the dog runs every day. Turf holds up in both.
Off the watering schedule
Turf doesn't need irrigation to stay green, so drought rules and once-a-week watering days stop mattering for that part of the yard. A rinse now and then keeps it clean.

What Florida Law Says About Artificial Turf
Cities can't ban it outright: A 2025 state law had the Florida Department of Environmental Protection set minimum standards for turf on single-family lots of an acre or less. Local governments can still regulate turf, but can't prohibit an install that meets those standards.
HOAs are a separate question: That rule doesn't cover HOAs or deed restrictions. Florida's HOA law does stop associations from restricting turf in spots no one can see from the street, a neighbor's lot, common areas or a golf course. Front yards still follow HOA rules.
Heat is the trade-off: University of Florida research lists surface heat as turf's biggest drawback. In full summer sun it can run far hotter than grass, so shade and placement matter.
This is a plain-English summary, not legal advice. Check with your city and HOA before you order.

What Our Customers Say
The sales guy Geoff Spears couldn't be more responsive, even to the point of helping the installers unload. They arrived a day early than scheduled and worked hard until the job was completed. The Installers were meticulous in building the fence and cleaned up entirely when they left. This company is excellent!
Colin B. Google ReviewSpoke with Jimmy a couple of days ago, he did not try to upsell me he gave me a quote according to what I was looking for and two days later they came out and put up my fence. Fantastic work. I would give this company an A+ Plus Randolph outdoor fence.
Alison B. Google ReviewI called this awesome company after the original fence installer failed to return any of my calls. and they came out same day. It was a very small job he was quick extremely kind and professional. This company is hands down the best!!!

Artificial Turf Questions From Lake County Homeowners
In the front yard, often yes. Florida law protects turf in areas that can't be seen from the street, neighboring lots, common areas or a golf course, so a backyard fully hidden behind a privacy fence may qualify. Anything visible still goes through your HOA's approval process.
It should. Good turf has a permeable backing laid over a compacted, free-draining base, so water passes straight through. Florida's new standards cover permeability and stormwater for that reason. A poor base is what leaves puddles, so ask any installer how deep theirs goes.
Yes. In direct summer sun it gets much hotter than grass, hot enough to be uncomfortable barefoot. It's at its best in shade, side yards and evening play areas. Light rinsing cools it for a short time.
